This policy explains what personal data GoldVibe collects, why, and the rights you have over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect and why
To serve you we collect your name, your mobile number and the shop you choose, and anything you choose to tell us — sizes, occasions, preferences — so we can help you better. We use this to hold your reservations, answer your enquiries and keep your purchase records.
If you ask us to send a piece to you, we also take the delivery address, PIN code and the phone number for the parcel, and give the courier what it needs to deliver it.
If you send us photographs — a design you want made, or pictures of a piece for a warranty claim — we keep them with that request, so the shop and the karigar can work from them. A design of yours is shown to other customers only if you tick the box that allows it.
Payments
Online payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI details; the shop is told only that a payment succeeded and its reference.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
With your permission, given on the banner at the foot of the page, a Meta (Facebook) pixel counts which of our pages and pieces are looked at, for our advertising. Nothing is sent to Meta until you allow it, and you can change your answer at any time.
Ask Sona
Questions you type to Sona, the shop's assistant, may be sent to an AI service run by Google to word the answer. We do not keep the conversation. Please do not type personal details there.
Marketing and consent
Messages about your own reservations and orders are a service and are always sent. Offers and festival messages are marketing, and we send them only with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time — ask us, or use unsubscribe — and we stop, while still sending you service messages.
Virtual try-on
The live camera try-on runs entirely on your phone; no video or photo ever reaches us. If you use the AI “see it truly on you” step, your photo is sent once to an image-processing service to create that one picture. Our own copy is deleted within an hour; how long that service keeps it is set by the service itself — this involves a transfer of your photo outside India for that single purpose, which you consent to before it is sent.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to erase it. To be forgotten, request account deletion: we remove your personal details and keep only the transaction records the law requires us to retain, with no person attached to them.
Grievances
Questions or complaints about your data go to our Grievance Officer, whose name and contact are published in the footer of every page. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month.
